Onboarding Checklist
New to BriefSpec? The checklist walks you through five steps in order, with each step linking directly to the right place:
- Create your first project — Projects organize everything.
- Add requirements — Capture what you’re building in the Backlog.
- Create a test case — Write manually, import from Excel, or let AI generate them.
- Run a test cycle — Group test cases, assign testers, execute.
- Invite your team — Add teammates and assign roles.
Metric Cards
Five cards give you instant visibility: My Projects, My Requirements, Action Items, My Defects, and Test Cases. Each is clickable — select one to filter the tables below. Numbers update in real time.
My Projects Table
Shows every project you’re involved with. Tabs switch between In Progress and Draft. Click any project row to open its full workspace.
Quick-Action Tables
My Requirements, Action Items, and My Defects each have their own table with Assigned To toggles and action buttons. A New Test Case button at the bottom lets you create one without leaving the dashboard.
Sidebar & Top Bar
The collapsible left sidebar navigates to Home, Projects, Clients, Users, Time Entry, Test Case Library, Settings, and Agent Spark. The top bar gives you profile access, theme toggle, help, and role context.
